Copy Paste doesn't work (Wine)

Running A9Cad in Wine and Copy/Paste functions do not work. "cancel selection set" is displayed after clicking COPY button. Quite annoying, as copy/paste is the only way I know to make a block. I've tried to copy from the Edit menu, the toolbar button and ctrl-c. All have the same results. Copy/paste works in my other apps running under Wine. I also tried a reinstall - no change. Any ideas?
